In 2012 Denney's first smash hit 'Ultraviolet' was signed by the infamous Hot Creations camp, leading to colossal international success. He was fast named 'Future Hero' in Mixmag and the track gained him support from heavy-weights Sasha, Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, MANDY, Pete Tong and many more.

Denney's undeniable talents as a DJ have lead him to play all over the world leaving his mark on Europe, Australia and America, with a highlight at the notorious DC10 in Ibiza for Jamie Jones' Paradise. His style is unmistakable with intricately blending house and techno with a distinct ability to conjure a euphoric atmosphere.

2014 was undoubtedly another phenomenal year for Denney. Things moved swiftly from strength to strength landing a residency at the club night Back to Basics, a huge honour and holding major importance to him. After signing with NGE booking Agency, who look after the likes of Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus and Art Department, an intensive touring schedule took Denney across the globe gracing DJ booths at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues such as Fabric and Mint Club. With VIVa boss Steve Lawler fully behind the rapidly rising star signing him to VIVa Music Management, 2015 became an even more prolific year for Denney.

Firmly at the forefront of the underground music spectrum, the start of the year saw him release one of 2015’s most revered productions. Conquering clubs and festivals across the globe, ‘Low Frequency’ rocketed to the top of the Beatport charts sitting at number 1 for over five weeks once again showcasing Denney’s un-paralleled vision and production style. With the summer season drawing closer he showed no sign of taking his feet off the pedal; highlighted by holding a residency at one of Ibiza’s most sought after events, VIVa Warriors as well as making appearances at Jamie Jones’ Paradise and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project.

WAIFS & STRAYS (Hot Creations/VIVa MUSiC/Leftroom)
www.facebook.com/WeAreWaifsAndStrays

Waifs & Strays first appeared among the new wave of house-leaning producers to emerge from Bristol's ever fertile music scene back in 2010 alongside friends like Eats Everything and Julio Bashmore. Their output spliced Amos Nelson's' love for traditional Chicago grooves with Rich Beanland's bass-orientated background, together they brought a unique take on house music which captured the imagination of party people around the world, from their hometown all the way to the USA and across Europe.

Waifs & Strays announced their arrival with 'Yeah, Yeah' on Leftroom, which was named Essential New Tune by Pete Tong in 2011 and went on to become one of the year's biggest hits. The follow up release came via Jamie Jones' seminal label Hot Creations, the sultry 'Body Shiver' was a perfect fit for Jones' bass-heavy, groove-laden sets, and was included on his Fabric 59 mix CD.

2014 saw Amos operating as a solo artist under the Waifs & Strays monicker, with Rich taking a sabbatical due to health issues. Going from a two-man working relationship to riding solo can be a tough break for some, but for Amos it's was a challenge that he relished. Now working alone, he's pushed the project forward with a renewed zeal, dedicating his time and energy to bolstering his production skills with a clear vision of where the project is heading.

During the year he made a strong connection Kerri Chandler's Madtech label, which allowed him to explore his appreciation for the roots of house further, During the year Waifs & Strays had notable releases on Futureboogie, Resonance and Skream's label Of Unsound Mind, not to mention a whole host of high-profile club and festival appearances.

This year sees Amos continue the hard work both in and out of the studio, with releases on Viva, Material and Purp & Soul as well as music on his the labels already affiliated with such as Futureboogie and Of Unsound Mind and MadTech.
