Stealth presents...

URULU (Exploited)

Urulu’s debut EP ‘Goodbyes’ on the Lazaro Cassanova owned LA/Miami based petFood imprint offered a warm introduction for many to a producer already showing maturity far beyond his 20 years, with the title track in particular garnering plays from UK based producers Chris James (one-half of house music’s most in-demand duo, Coat Of Arms along with Eats Everything) and Mario Cotto on the famed LA-based, independent radio station, KCRW, having been championed around the blogosphere by e-heavyweights such as XLR8R and EarMilk.

With evocative and emotive productions showcasing a stripped back, classic feel, Urulu’s sounds are a throwback to the lost generation of smoother groove-makers. His DJ charts and sets also showcase a wide and all-encompassing appreciation for all things electronic ; the archetypal producer/DJ. The man himself prefers not to be bogged down in the constantly sinking marsh of pigeon-holing and sub-genres which are polluting the contemporary electronic music industry; make no mistake about it, this is unashamedly soulful, infectious, warm house music in it’s rawest and purest form.
