Voted 'Nottingham's Best Club Night'
Every Saturday at Stealth & The Rescue Rooms

JON RUST & REECHA (Standard Place).

On Saturday 11th August we are pleased to welcome back a couple of DJs who used to hold midweek residencies at Stealth a few years back - Jon Rust & Reecha.

The duo both studied in Nottingham, and upon graduating headed to the bright lights of London to find fame and fortune. Jon began working at the capital's premier dance emporium Phonica Records, whilst Robin (aka Reecha) started the clubnight Dirty Canvas (with DJ Magic), which was the only regular event showcasing the grime sound. In addition to this Robin set up the offshoot record label No Hats No Hoods, which has become the UK's leading grime label via releases from P Money, Wiley, JME, Plastician and arguably the biggest grime track of all time - Tempa T’s ‘Next Hype’.

In 2010 Jon & Reecha joined forces with Oneman, Barclay James & MC ASBO to start a new night - Standard Place. Along with their monthly parties they also began hosting events on the U-Stream show Boiler Room.

Into 2011 and Standard Place became a regular feature of the Boiler Room; Jon got a weekly show on the independent online radio project NTS; and Jon & Robin set up another record label and clubnight Lighworks, dropping Ossie's anthemic 'floor killer 'Tarantula' as their first release.

For an idea of what to expect from their B2B set at Stealth Vs Rescued on Saturday 11th August you should check out their mix for Lovebox:
