SUMMER CAMP
The Sunderland five-piece, who played their debut London headline show at the 100 Club on 3rd June to a packed-out crowd, are limbering up for their Glastonbury Festival performance (Saturday, Park Stage, 13:45-14:30) and appearances at Wakestock, Lounge On the Farm, Latitude, Summer Sundae, the Edinburgh Fringe (with label-mates Sky Larkin) and Reading & Leeds. Full live dates below/overleaf.
Frankie & The Heartstrings are also set to play live at the launch for NO REDEMPTION THE 1984–85 MINERS’ STRIKE IN THE DURHAM COALFIELD, a book with photographs by Keith Pattison and words by David Peace. The band have featured Keith Pattison’s images from the Strike of 1984-85 on two of their vinyl releases - their limited edition live 10” EP 12.09.09 and 7” single Tender / Want You Back.
F&TH are currently grafting away on their debut album in a cellar somewhere in Sunderland.
